Amaya Taylor, our Community Programs & Brand Activation Coordinator, is a graduate of the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and Multimedia Design. She brings a strong foundation in marketing, brand strategy, campaign development, digital media, and creative storytelling, with a passion for help organizations build meaningful relationships with the people they serve.
Amaya’s experience spans event planning, entertainment production, and community engagement. During her four years of leadership and involvement with the University of Oregon Black Cultural Center, she helped create impactful programs and experiences that supported student success, cultural enrichment, and community building.
A proud Portland native, Amaya is committed to serving and uplifting her community through purpose driven work centered on youth, families, culture, and connection. She is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., where she continues to demonstrate leadership, service, and excellence.
