Stacey’s role at BPI is that of a Literacy Tutor for third graders in the Portland School District. Within this role she gets the pleasure of meeting students and their families, assisting them with their educational needs, as well as any other needs that may arise. Being able to feed the potential in the students by speaking life into them and finding creative ways to make learning fun is what she enjoys most about her role as a Literacy Tutor.
Her work experience over the last twelve years has been working with children and families in one way or another. She has worked with DHS as a caseworker, parent engagement specialist at Humboldt Elementary School, SUN School Instructor at Prescott Elementary School, School Secretary at various schools and Educational Assistant/Paraeducator in multiple school Districts in the city.
Stacey’s hobbies are dancing and singing. Her passion is helping others and putting smiles on their faces.
